Nakhon Ratchasima Flower Garden
Nakhon Ratchasima (also known as Korat) is the largest province in Thailand. This is a poor and rural state, but it is alive with natural beauty and strikes a romantic chord in the hearts of many Thais.
Nakhon Ratchasima Flower Garden features around 20 acres (70 Rai) of tropical flower gardens. These flowers are used for decorative purposes, often used by government projects at festivals and cultural gatherings to adorn floats and religious icons. This state-run flower garden is also used by universities for Botanical Research and studying orchids and flower cultivation. There are a huge range of flowers growing in this garden, ranging from orchids, to gerbera, lilies, roses, chrysanthemums, iris, poppies and sunflowers.
Many of the flowers in this garden are cultivated in pots, making for easy transportation to events where they are turned into beautiful pieces of art by local florists and enthusiasts in Nakhon Ratchasima and surrounding areas. At Florist Nakhon Ratchasima gardens you can find both tropical plants as well as plants and flowers which are usually found growing in more temperate climates.
Visitors to the park like to spend an hour or two walking around seeing the different types of flowers available, followed by relaxation under the shade of many of the conifer trees growing in the garden. Visitors are also able to purchase many of the potted flowers to take home with them. The flower gardens also feature a tea and coffee house and a restaurant is also open at busier times of the year.
